GIRLS' LIFE BRIGADE

A most enjoyable time was spent by the officers, chaplains, N.C.O's and governing committee members of the Girls' Life Brigade in the Beresford Street Congregational Sunday ' School Hall on Saturday evening. A short business session was held first, when new officers from the 37th and 40th companies, with some N.C.O.'s, were welcomed in. Resuscitation certificates were presented by Major D. Earle, commissioner of the division. It was decided to hold the annual camp in the WSitakeres at Turanga Heights. Miss P. Green, Dominion secretary of the Girls' Life Brigade, spoke a few words, and both she and the commissioner were presented with bouquets. There were between 60 and 70 present, and the social part was taken by the three commandants, adjutants and N.C.O.'s.
