SERVICES' VOTES
DOMINION FIGURES
MAJORITY FOR LABOUR
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, this day. An analysis of the Services' polling for the 76 European electorates discloses the following distribution of votes among the parties:— Labour 38,622 National 24,794 , Democratic Labour .... 4,857 All other candidates ... 3,09S ; Total 71,399 The Labour party received a majority of Service votes except in eighteen electorates. These were: Riccarton, Remuera, Stratford, Rangitikei, Kaipara, Egmont, Tauranga, Bay of Plenty, Waipawa, Waitomo, Christchurch North, Waikato, Pahiatua, Franklin, Hauraki, Clutha, Manawatu, and Central Otago.
