Flight-Sergeant B. J. Caldwell, son of Mr. J. and the late Mrs. Caldwell, 10, Ruarangi Road, Mount Albert, has gained his commission in the R.N.Z.A.F. in Canada. Pilot-Officer Caldwell left New Zealand in June, 1942, and, after gaining his wings, was an instructor. He was educated at Wanganui Technical College and Wesley College, Paerata. He was recently married and is aged 23.
