Flight-Sergeant Jack Turner (20), eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Turner, Luke Street, Otahuhu, has been reported killed on active service. Flight-Sergeant Turner gained his wings when 18 and left for England in February, 1942. He was educated at the Otahuhu Technical High School, which he represented at rowing and football.
