Banking Department Liabilities.—Capital', £ 14V500,066; rest; £3,400,COO; public deposits,- £7,200,000; bankers' deposits, £106,800,000; other accounts, £56,600,000. Assets. —Government securities, £202,000,000; advances, ctc., £3,500, COO; other securities, £16.300,000: notes and coin, £26,700,000. Proportion of reserve to liabilities, 11.59 per cent (last week, 11.56 per cent); discount rate, 2 per cent, unchanged.
