SPANIARD ARRESTED
Devastating Act Of Sabotage Prevented
TRIAL AT GIBRALTAR

LONDON, Aug. 26
A Spaniard named Luis Lopez Cuenca, 22, was arrested in time to prevent a devastating act of sabotage, declared the Attorney-General, Sir Donald Somervell, K.C., prosecuting, when Cuenca appeared in the Supreme Court at Gibraltar on a charge of acting with intent to assist the enemy and having in his possession a bomb for the purpose of causing an explosion in Gibraltar dockyard. „ , ~ , t , , The Attorney-General added that the Spanish authorities arrested two others with whom Cuenca had been associated. Cuenca was arrested as the result of the courage of dockyard workers and the vigilance of the security police. The prosecution contended that Cuenca was guilty of a series of acts constituting treachery. . The remainder of the case is being heard in camera. .
