NEW CLASSROOMS

PREFABRICATED TYPE (By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. Increasing the school age to 15 would cause a certain amount of difficulty, remarked the Minister of Education, Mr. Mason, when the estimates of his Department were being considered in the House of Representatives last night. Mr. Mason said there would be difficulties, both in regard to staff and accommodation, but the building problem would be overcome bv providing a special type of prefabricated classroom, which would be portable and could be added to schools where there was a lack of accommodation. A considerable number would be constructed, which would materially help the situation.
