DEVONPORT WELCOME
•U a meeting of the Devonport Borough Council last night it was i decided to tender a civic welcome to local men on furlough from the j Middle East and to all other members of the Second N.Z.E.F. now in i Xew Zealand after service overseas. ; The function will be held in the j Devonport Parish Hall, on Saturday, July 31. The Mayor, Mr. R. G. May, will preside. and Mr. F. W. Schramm, M.P.. will be invited to attend.
