BELGIAN NATIONAL DAY
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. On the occasion of the Belgian National Day the Prime Minister. Mr. Eraser, has sent the following message to the Belgian Government: "I desire on behalf of the Government and people of New Zealand to send a message of wholehearted admiration and sympathy, and to say to the indomitable men and women of Belgium that your grim sufferings and your inflexible spirit throughout this cruel struggle against overwhelming odds is always before us and will not be forgotten in New Zealand."
