TRANSPORT BOARD
A suggestion that the election of the Auckland Transport Boara should be held on the same day as the municipal elections was the subject of a lengthy discussion at yesterday's meeting of the board. it was decided, on the motion of Mr. Armstrong, that the board considered the present an opportune time to synchronise the board's election with that of the municipal elections and that the franchise be standardised
