CANTEEN FUND THEFT
WANGANUI, Tuesday. Stating that, in view of accused's previous convictions, he could not grant probation, Mr. J. H. Salmon, S.M., to-day sentenced a soldier Joseph Greenwood, aged 54, to three months' imprisonment for the theft of £19 3/, the property of the New Zealand Tactical School Canteen Fund. Greenwood pleaded guilts'.
