QUOTA EXCEEDED
The National War Savings quota of £12,050 was again exceeded last week in the Auckland metropolitan area, the receipts being £14,949, compared with £17,561 in the previous week.
Approximately 100 new National War Savings accounts are being opened in Auckland each week, and the total reached 41,500.
