MT. ROSKILL ROAD BOARD
The monthlv meeting of the board was held on Wednesday evening, the chairman, Mr. C. M. McCullough, presiding. Balance Sheet.—The Auditor-General returned the board's balance sheet free from any tags, for which the treasurer, Mr. J. ReicKT received the congratulations of members. r Financial. —The general account is in credit £841 ancL £3000 is on fixed deposit. „„„„„„ Buildings.—Permits to the value of £10,228 have been issued during the past month. Eight buildings are in course of erection exclusive of State houses. , Twenty termite inspections have been made and no signs of infestation found. Health Report.—The inspector stated that the health of the district was very satisfactory, there being r.o cases of infectious diseases. • Annual Meeting.—The annual meeting of ratepayers will be held on May 25.
