SOLDIER'S DEATH
ACCIDENT IN CAMP (P.A.) PALMERSTON N., this day.' The army authorities state that as the result of the accidental discharge of a rifle a soldier was fatally wounded at a camp in the Manawatu district yesterday. A board of inquiry is being held. The soldier was:— Sapper K. C. Morgan, aged 20, son of Mr. C. F. Morgan, 43, McGrath Street, Napier.
