LORD GALWAY'S DEATH TRIBUTE TO WORK IN N.Z. (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Monday. "I am sure I voice the deep sorrow of all the people of New Zealand at the sad news received to-day of the death of Lord Galway," said the Prime Minister, Mr. Fraser, to-day. "During his six years as GovernorGeneral he greatly endeared himself to all sections of the people, and never failed to take the keenest interest in everything affecting the well-being and progress of the Dominion." Mr. Fraser referred particularly to Lord Gahvay's deep concern' in the welfare of the Maori people, and to his work in connection with the National Patriotic Fund. In a telegram to the Secretary of State for the Dominions, Mr. Fraser has conveyed to Lady Galway and her family the heartfelt sympathy of the Government and people of New Zealand.
