U.S. SHIPS ATTACKED
BY JAPANESE FLOAT-PLANES Rec. 10 a.m. WASHINGTON, Jan. 28 Two Japanese float-planes to-day attacked United States ships operating westward of our positions in the Aleutian Islands, west of Alaska. No damage was suffered, states the Navy Department's communique No. 264.
