ARREST OF BEDAUX

Rec. 1 p.m. WASHINGTON, Jan. 14. The Secretary of State, Mr. Cordell Hull, stated that it is not clear whether Charles Bedaux, former, friend of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, was arrested by the Allied military authorities or the French civil authorities. He added that one report alleged that Bedaux traded with the enemy, but no details have been received.
