EGG GRADING

A number of poultry-keepers have i taken advantage of the invitation i given to visit the modern egg grad--1 ing floor of Messrs. Turners and 1 Growers, Ltd. Their largest egg grading machine is the only one of its kind in New Zealand and besides weighing each egg for weight grade it has also a special candle process which shows the graders any defect in eggs as they pass over the rollers. A further feature is the machine's ability to count every egg and, if required, stamp them. Mr. Aspinall is in charge of the floor, and poultrykeepers or storekeepers should con- i tact him if they desire to see the ■ grading of eggs being carried out. ' — (P.8.A.)
