LECTURE AT MUSEUM
'"The Greenstone Trail" was the subject • of a lecture given by Mrs. E. G. Turbott at the War Memorial Museum yesterday J afternoon. About 200 people attended. ' The speaker outlined the story of greenJ stone in Maori legend and the route fol- ' lowed by the North Island Maoris to the ' West Coast of the South Island, where greenstone is found. The lecture was illustrated by a colour film taken by the late Mr. Gore Adams.
