TEMPERANCE WORK
The annual conference of the Auckland District "Y's" was held on Saturday, in the Beresford Street Congregational Hall. Mr. J. Smith presided. Auckland Central, Henderson, Waterview, Kurahuna, and Rangi Marie branches were represented. It was stated that three new branches had been organised during the year. Officers elected were: Superintendent, Mrs. Moore; president, Miss Webber; vice-president, Mr. Chambers; secretary, Miss McConnell; treasurer, Miss Mathieson. The Kasper Vase was awarded to the Waterview branch.
