Several members expressed the opinion that every endeavour should be made to see that no further encroachment was made on the playing areas of the city. In connection with the allocation of City C ouncil grounds a conference will be held with the parks committee, which will be attended by Mr. Kee. Mr. A. J. Postles was appointed sole selector. Mr. F. W. Matthews again offered a bat for the players scoring the first century of the season. Mr. K. K. Nalder was re-elected deputychairman. An application from the Business Houses' Association for affiliation was granted.
