Mitchell. 2 wins; Star Ofßee. Transport (Roper). Auckland Meat Co.. New Zealand Breweries (Joan); Transport (Low). J. B. O'Loghlen. Sunshine Products 1: Culpan's Cleaners, 3 losses. In the Orange Club's champion singles tourney tire following qualified: W. Harding, F. Harris. W. Mitchell. The Junior chamDion singles tourney resulted in A. J. Fielder. Mrs. H. W. Young and Miss A. Brldgens qualifying. Seven rinks from the Eden-Rosklll Returned Services' Club paid a return visit to the Orange Club to play for the Hallworth Shield. They lost only by the odd game, winning 10 out of 21 games. Results: J. Kennedy. A. Thomas. L. Low. 8. Price each three wins. Of 28 teams these were the only ones who qualified. The play-off resulted: Thomas beat Price, Kennedy best Ixrw, Final: A. Thomas beat J. Kennedy.
