TASTE IN HATS
MRS. ( HI KCHILL'S BOW Mrs. Churchill's taste in hats will never occasion the public interest that is displayed when her husband appears in some new type of remarkable headgear. As a matter of fact it is only on formal occasions that Mrs. Churchill wears a hat at all. Her favourite mode of keeping neat and attractive her very charming silvery hair is to knot a bandeau of crepe de chine or georgette round her head. Just now. however, she is wearing a hair ribbon, and many other people in London are following her example. Mrs. Churchill wears her ribbon in Alice in Wonderland fashion, tied on the top of her head in a little flat bow. She chooses delicate colours which blend with her hair. A day cr two ago, when I saw her, she had on a beauti-fully-tailored dark suit and a hair ribbon of soft Wedgwood blue.
