RED CROSS
During the week-end, Miss H. I. Crooke, director-general for New Zealand Red Cross Voluntary Aids, will be in Auckland and will inspect the Voluntary Aids on Sunday. After the inspection she will present the Lane Mason Cup. Miss D. A. Whitelaw, advisory centre director, Wellington Centre, is at present visiting Auckland and will be here for a week.
If you find the rings of your curtains" pulling hard on the rods— which often happens in damp weather —just rub a little grease along the rod, and the curtains will pull easily.
