NAPIER TO GISBORNE
SERVICE STARTS SEPTEMBER 7
(P.AX ZZ WELLINGTpNi; Monday. The Minister of Railways, Mr. Semple, announces that the new railway service between Napier and Gisborne will commence on September 7. A train will leave Gisborne daily at 10.5 a.m., for Napier, connecting with the 4.25 p.m. train to Palmerston North, and a train will leave Napier daily at 5.25 p.m. after the arrival of the Wellington ®^5853»;. . r . e . ac hing_-Gisbqnie at 11
The Minister said the newsservice would effect a large saving of petrol and tyres::;
