INFLUENZA DECREASES
SOLDIERS WITH MEASLES The warmer days of the past week have resulted in a diminishing of influenza in Auckland. Business houses are no longer as depleted in staffs as they have been during the past weeks. In military camps influenza is still prevalent, though not to the same extent as previously, according to Dr. C. B. Gilberd, acting-medical superintendent of the Auckland Hospital. He said yesterday that soldier patients were being admitted to the auxiliary hospital at Ellerslie at the rate of 20 to 30 a day. There «re also about 70 soldier patients in the Ellerslie hospital with measles.
