LOCATED UNDER WATER WHARF NOW TO BE CLOSED (0.C.) WHANGAREI, this day. Following similar loss and damage at Port Whangarei, the police are investigating the removal of two heavy bundles of waterpipes from the town wharf. The missing pipes were located under water beneath the wharf, and had to be lifted out with a derrick.
