DONORS THANKED
INSTRUMENTS FOR NAVY (P.A.) WELLINGTON, this day. Some time ago an appeal was made for nautical instruments for the Royal New Zealand Navy and the response exceeded expectations. The Minister of Defence, Mr. Jones, in thanking the donors of instruments, which included chronometers, compasses and theodolites, said these would prove of considerable assista ice to the navy in maintaining its lighting efficiency.
