ANOTHER SERIES OP TRIAIv C.AMES The ehampionship competitions of the Auckland Rugby Football Union will not start until May 1(S. Another round of senior preliminary games has been arranged for this week. The executive decided last night to inform the patriotic committee that men in uniform from services of the Allied countries would be admitted free to any Rugby ground, with the exception of Kden Park, wliere half rates would be charged; also that the union A\ould extend its playing facilities to all members of the forces. The senior engagements for this Aveek are:— C.R.O. v. Manukau, Eden Park No. 1. 3 p.m., Mr. M. G. Parris; Garrison v. Technical Old Boys. Eden Park No. 1, 1.30 p.m., Mr. M. G. Parris: Air Force No. 1 v. Takapuna, Eden Park No. 2. 3 p.m.. Mr. D. Frederickson; Spartans v. Otahuhu. Eden Park No. 3, 3 p.m., Mr. L. H. Briggs; Grafton-Ponsonby v. M.T.P., Eden Park No. 2. 1.30 p.m., Mr. D. Frederickson: GrammarUniversity v. Suburbs. Eden Park No. 3. 1.30 p.m., Mr. L. H. Briggs; Eden v. Marist, Gribble-Hirst Park. 3 p.m.. Mr. J. C. Eagles; A.S.C. v. The Ranfurlvs. Onehunga No. 1, 3 p.m.. Mr. S. G. Yeoman: Air Force No. 2 v. Training College, 3 p.m., Mr. E. D. Hill.
