LABELS FOR BABIES

An appeal to mothers to provide identification labels for babies and toddlers has been made by Miss H. Chapman, on behalf of the Plunket Society. Miss Chapman advises all mothers to have their babies clearly labelled from now onwards, and says that the name and address printed on a tape wristband is probably the simplest method.

Linseed oil and turpentine, mixed in equal proportions, will help to remove scratches from dark furniture. Apply with a rag and polish well.
