John George Langton, aged 30, a farmer, was charged in the Onehunga Magistrate's Court to-day, before Mr. F. H. Levien, S.M., with failing to enrol in the national military reserve. Defendant, who was represented by Mr. W. W. King, pleaded guilty.

Counsel stated that Langton was employed by his mother and was milking 27 cows. He asked that sentence be suspended in order to arrange for a substitute on the farm. The magistrate agrtW to this and remanded Langton to appear at Auckland next Monday. Bail of £50 was allowc?
