CORRESPONDENTS' VIEWS
WAR INVENTIONS (To the Editor) For nearly two years I w endeavoured to interest the XMrl Zealand defence authorities in a n. posal to manufacture anti-tank & mines in New Zealand. I have the plans for these mines, which w»m be efficient, destructive and ch#» and extremely simple to mannff ture. We are now at war trfth Japan and a defence against lanrtijw parties and mechanised forces njw be necessary any day. It is not too late to make these mines now. it is up to the Defence Department to at least try and investigate my claims. W. D. KEYST^.
