Because the degree of driving lights allowed during blackout periods is considered to be inadequate, the central committee of the Wellington E.P.S. h as set up a subcommittee, consisting of the local lighting controller, Mr. L. B. Hutton, the chief traffic officer, Mr. L. S. Drake, and Mr. E. A. Batt, chairman of the Automobile Association, to discuss improvement of lighting for necessary traffic and to make representations to the Dominion lighting controller.
