NORTHCOTE FERRY
At the Northcote Borough Council's meeting last night the Mayor, Mr. E. C. Fowler, reported on a conference he had attended between the Harbour Board and the Minister of Marine, the Hon. R. Semple, in connection with the Northcote vehicular ferry service. The council decided that a copy of a petition containing 220 signatures requesting the reinstatement of the ferry, be presented to the Harbour Board.
