HARD COURTS ASSOCIATION WELCOME. TRANSPORT AXD AVOXDALE UNBEATEN, The A grade championship of the Auckland Hard Courts Tennis Association was advanced another stage on Saturday. Welcome. Transport and Avondale won their matches and all three are unbeaten to date. Results:— Welcome, 11 sets (77 games), beat Whltworth, 3 sets (51 games): Mount Albert. 9 sett (66 garnet), beat Avalon, 5 sets (51 games); Transport. 10 sets (73 games), beat Woodward, 4 sets (53 games); Avondale, 14 seta (84 games), beat Eden dale, 0 seta (28 games).
