Cherry's Ticket Runs Five Furlongs In 1.2 2-5

Galloping on the No. 3 grass track at Ellerslie this morning. Cherry's Ticket ran five furlongs in 1.2 2-5. She covered her closing three furlongs in 37 2-ss. This was easily the best trial of the morning.

Happicoat and Venture were associated for four furlongs in 50 2-ss. Happicoat held a slight advantage. In a ■similar task Royal Message and Until registered 51s. Until, who has yet to make her debut, shaped encouragingly.

Corot and Silver Quex sprinted half a mile in 51 3-ss. Neither was extended. The Crow shaped well in a three-furlong dash, recording 37 3-ss. Vaalso made best figures at six furlongs, recording 1.16 4-5. Vaalso covered the last half mile in 51 4-ss. It was an attractive effort.
