Cherry's Ticket Runs Five Furlongs In 1.2 2-5
Galloping on the No. 3 grass track at Ellerslie this morning. Cherry's Ticket ran five furlongs in 1.2 2-5. She covered her closing three furlongs in 37 2-ss. This was easily the best trial of the morning.
Happicoat and Venture were associated for four furlongs in 50 2-ss. Happicoat held a slight advantage. In a ■similar task Royal Message and Until registered 51s. Until, who has yet to make her debut, shaped encouragingly.
Corot and Silver Quex sprinted half a mile in 51 3-ss. Neither was extended. The Crow shaped well in a three-furlong dash, recording 37 3-ss. Vaalso made best figures at six furlongs, recording 1.16 4-5. Vaalso covered the last half mile in 51 4-ss. It was an attractive effort. Four Furlongs. — Beaucoup, 53 2-ss; LlandafT (easily), 545. Five Furlongs.—Radio Call and Camilla, 1.5 1-5. Six Furlongs.—Brahmin, 1.19 (last four 52 2-ss); June Tide, 1.21 3-5; Last Survey led The Dude, 1.22; Bright Idea (last six), 1.27 3-5. One Round.—British Talent. 1.43 1-5 (last half mile in 53 2-ss); Mysito, 1.48 1-5 (last half mile 54 2-ss); Golden Bonnet, 1.48 (last six in 1.24 2-5).
