SHIELD GAMES ON NOVEMBER 8 Officers elected at the annual meetlns of the Onehunga Cricket Association:—Patron. Mr. J. Park; vice-patron. Mr. O. C. W. Reld: president. Mi. J. E. Green; chairman management committee, Mr. E. H. Schache; auditor. Mr. O. 8. Harvey. The appointment of secretary and treasurer was left to the management committee. Seven clubs signified their intention to play, while others were reported to be In process of formation. It was decided to open the season at Walkaraka Park on November 1 with a series of , friendly matches and to commence the annual | shield competition oj» the following Saturday.
