CHEESE PRODUCTION
(0.C.) \VHANGAREI, this day. First cheese shipment from the newly organised Maungatapere cheese factory was sent to-day to the Auckland grading stores The shipment comprised 32 crates containing 64 cheeses, representing about two tons of cheese. Considering the disadvantages under which the factory has been working owing to the lack of equipment, making improvisation necessary, the cheese was of good quality.
