NO WORK TO-DAY
RENOWN MINE IDLE MEETING DELAYS START (0.C.) HUNTLY, this day. The Renown mine is idle to-day. The men held a stop-work meeting prior to starting work and as the meeting continued beyond the specified time for commencing work the mine was laid idle. It is understood that the meeting was held to discuss an argument among the men concerning the cavilling of places in the mine. It is expected that work will be resumed to-morrow.
