AIR FORCE RELATIONS
DISTRIBUTION OF WOOIThe Hohsonville and W'henuapai branch of Air Force Relations wish ; to advise all helpers in the A tick- i land district that Mrs. T. G. Hull, ; of 56, Balmoral Road. Mount Eden, is now acting as secretary for the I Auckland committee. There have ; been several requests recently to buy j wool through this organisation. This ; is quite impossible as the wool is purchased with patriotic funds and cannot be resold to anyone. No garments can be distributed except ' through Air Force Relations, even to relatives of knitters who may be I members of the service. The woollen comforts for all air- : men are issued through their own | R.N.Z.A.F. stations. There has been considerable i shortage of wool during the past few • weeks and in future it is intended i to advise knitters if there is no wool j available for distribution. ' The splendid effort and sustained ] support of the Auckland district is fully realised by the organisers of Air Force Relations, and this arrangement is being adopted in i order to save a fruitless journey into '. the city when shortage of wool makes it impossible to keep Auck- ' land requirements fully supplied.
