MT. EDEN E.P.S.O.

The August meeting of the Mount Eden branch of the E.P.S.O. Women's Auxiliary took the fonrf of a combined meeting of all the wardens and team workers of the borough. Mr. Bailey, the deputy chief warden of the metropolitan area, being the speaker. The Mavor. Mr. R. J. Mills, presided.

Mr. Bailey gave a comprehensive insight in'o the technical side of the organisation. The Women's Auxiliary's job was to deal with the casualty where it happened and report to the team warden, and common sense should always dictate the policy of the members of the auxiliary, said Mr. Bailey. He then suggested that a sham emergency should be staged in the borough so that, the organisation in its various departments could be tested. It is hoped that it will be found possible to do this at a later date.
