CLUBS AND SOCIETIES
New Women's Club.—"Facts About Bread" was the subject of an address by Mr. H. R. Hanson, instructor to the New Zealand School of Bakery. A "bring and buy" was held in aid of the Society for the Protection of Women and Children. The president, Mrs. A. Gladding, presided.
Franchise Assembly.—The monthly meeting of the New Zealand Women's Franchise Assembly was presided over by Madame Milburn. An address on Federal Union was given by Mrs. E. M. Wood, after which a discussion took place. An increase in membership was reported.
