OVER 1500 EXPORTED
(Rec. 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, July 24. Britain, since the outbreak of war, has exported to 11 countries, including Australia and New Zealand, over 1500 thoroughbred hoasee with an average value of between £600 and £700. The horees included four Derby winners, Ji&hram, Mahmoud, sold to the United States for £40,000 and £20,000 respectively, Coronach, who went to New Zeaiand, and Cameronian, now bound for Argentina. Lees than one half per cent of the Horses were loet at sea ae a result of enemy action.
STOUTLY-BRED COLT The imported colt Parchment, who made a winning debut in the South Island, was got by the Derby winner Papyrus from lan Belle, by Desmond—Combine, by Carbine-Molly Morgan.
