UNDER TWENTY CLUB
TOC H IN ALEXANDRIA The only institution of its kind outside the United Kingdom, an Under Twenty Club was recently opened in Alexandria by Lady Cunningham, wife of the Admiral Commanding in Chief in the Mediterranean. It has been organised by the Toe H movement in co-operation with the navy, and although it is primarily for the young men of the navy the "under twenties" from other Services will be welcomed. The club is intended to be a "home from home" for younger members of the Services—somewhere for those whose pennies do not stretch the length of a pound to go and find amusement, refreshment and a happy evening at a minimum of expense. Speakers at the opening ceremony were Lady Cunningham, the Rev. D. H. Booth, a naval chaplain who is to control the club, and Mr. Alan Cowling, Toe H representative in the Middle East.
