A CHANGE MUST COME
When the war is ended there undoubtedly have to be a remodel ling of things in general. I of a man earning £46 for a wwJft work. At the present currency it is hard to believe that any man in Australasia could earn that sum in the time, even at skilled work. Tte Government will have to see that men go on the land—utilise tie thousands of idle broad acres—instead of hanging around the cities in the expectation of getting bfe wages for short-week work Tfos unions, too. will be called upon to tighten their belts, and be advised not to strike because the? fancy they are not receiving sufficient pay. There should be no unemployment in New Zealand. Any person who writes to the papers sayiDJ he cannot get a job—well, stop me lest I say something seemingly unfit for publication. TIMI KARETL
