The Paris newspaper "Soir" nufe I Nazi control, recently published i 1curious poem which shows how tit [ Germans are being quietly ridkate % in occupied lands. To a nation who are consumed with fair: L pride but run from the bayonet,men I who have no sense of humour, &k£ things have a sharp sting. Tte "poem" is untranslatable, owing to its intricate nature, but in the following I have attempted an imitation. Having read the verses, ait them down the middle and nail again. J. G. HADDOff.
