MENINGITIS IN CAMP
ROTORUA TERRITORIAL
A territorial from Auckland who admitted to the Rotorua Hospital yesterday from the Rotorua camp has been diagnosed as a meningitis It was reported at Northern Military District headquarters to-day that the patient was making feood progress. 6
No further cases have developed at Ngaruawahia camp, and the territorial who was admitted to the Wa l£, ato Hospital from that camp on Thursday is also said to be progressing favourably. Both the Ngaruawahia and Rotorua camps have been closed during the week-end to visitors, and no leave is to be allowed the men until it is proved that there is no danger of infection. The men with whom the patients were associated have been placed in isolation. The territorial at Rotorua had been in the, racecourse camp since Kay I. '
