PETROL TICKET FRAUDS

Rec. 11 a.m. MELBOURNE, this day-

Arising out of the petrol ration ticket forgeries George Stewart, 29, was sentenced to four months' imprisonment on each of two charges of uttering forged petrol ration tickets. The magistrate said the frauds were the work of a master mind and Stewart was only one of a number of conspirators in a most ingenious crime.
