First 100 of Season
The first century of the season in Wellington Rugby has been scored by M. Thomas (Athletic) who, with 11 points last week, brought his tally to 107, an average of just under nine points a game. The total was comprised of 6 tries, 13 penalties, 1 potted goal, 23 conversions. Thomas, when residing in Hawke's Bay in 1938, won a place in the representative team and played ag®inst Auckland at Napier. Hawke's Bay won by 37-11, and Thomas, a five- eighth, scored two tries, converted five, and kicked a penalty goal—l 9 points. In the 1932 season at Wellington F. Fuller (Eastbourne) scored 146 points in club games and 19 in representative games, a total of 165. The next highest scorers to Thomas this season are: F. Cassidy (Hutt) 56, J. M.
