DOCTORS' FEES

TO FRIENDLY SOCIETIES REPORTED INCREASE INQUIRY (By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Price Tribunal in Wellington is making inquiries into a complaint that B.M.A. doctors increased their quarterly charge for service to friendly society members from 5/9 to 7/6. In a statement, the Price Tribunal points out that the published suggestion that this body had approved increased charges is incorrect. "No application has been received for permission to increase the fees in question," it adds, "and the tribunal is making inquiries into the matter."
